Parsons Paris, divison of college of art, invited CELC Masters Of Linen wednesday, may 18th to its fashion show 2011.
The ambassador of the show was designer Maurizio Galante.
CELC was very enthusiastic to discover again the Parsons students work, full of innovation and creativity.
Congratulations to all of them, all very talented and specially Yelim Hong and Julianne De La Torre, jury’s favourite designers.

European linen seen at the Interior Design Week
Architectural cityscapes, metallic voiles, cool Scandinavian prints and stunning embroideries – all on European Linen for the UK’s most prestigious event for Interior Designers – Design Week at Chelsea Harbour, London.

rovided the palette for mid 19th century European cityscape prints at Osborne & Little and Zoffany; metallic effect voiles, relief prints and burnished textures featured in collections from Altfield’s Westbury Textiles, Osborne & Little and Romo Fabrics along-side embroidered collections including Frangipani a stunning collection also from Zoffany.

Scandinavian style inspired cool coloured stripes and checks at Designers Guild on textured and crushed linens and another theme running through the collections looks to the Far East, typified by the Mark Alexander collection from Romo Fabrics; timeless prints on textured weaves and brushed and tumbled linens inspired by Indonesian Batik and Japanese wood-cuts.

C & C Milano for the Salone del Mobile
Each year takes place in Milan (Italy) the Salone del Mobile, the world-famous exhibition of furniture and interior design.
For the 2011 edition, from april 12 to 17, C&C Milano presents an emotional installation in the courtyard, playing with the reflection of white linen fabrics in the water on the ground.
The collection is rich of precious linens, in bright and fresh colours. A must see !
Per il Salone del Mobile 2011, C&C Milano presenta nel cortile interno un’installazione em ozionale giocando con il riflesso dei tessuti bianchi di lino nell’acqua che ric opre il suolo.

First Parisian flagship for Carolina Herrera
The American brand Carolina Herrera named after its famous fashion designer opens its first Parisian store at last!
Placed 10 Castiglione Street next to the Place Vendôme, the flagship store of around 300 square metres displays man, woman and child universes as well as accessories like bags, ties and scarfs and some limited edition items.
The flagship’s atmosphere is chic, lustful but also welcoming and private.
Among the nobles materials used for the layout, we find wooden furniture, dyed and carpet linen.
As for the lighting, it is intense in the aisles and subdued in the corner with some color shades.
The result is elegant and sophisticated.
The arrangement is really successful and worth the detour.
And more important: really inspiring for your home !
Le mâle lin !
A l’approche de l’été, quoi de mieux qu’une matière légère, confortable et surtout aux propriétés antiallergiques et thermorégulatrices ?
