Summer 2010’s uncontested star, linen jersey, has been perfected in fine, regular yarns developed after years of finely tuned research by various European spinners. Light and supple, it is worked simply in cut-and-sew knits and developed in soft, easy pieces. This type of knit, ideal for T-shirts and easywear or lounging pieces takes advantage of linen’s excellent dye absorbtion qualities, seen at Les Fées de Bengale or Acne.

Petit Bateau uses it for tops, T-shirts,tanks and nighties in a 18 gauge, 145g/m2 weight for an ultra-light fabric worn next to the skin. Linen knits establish themselves as a chic basic for Women’s, Men’s and Children’s wardrobes.
