MoOD: Martine Gyselbrecht chairs the Blue Drop Jury

Martine Gyselbrecht world renowned textile designer, will lead the international panel to select the best innovations at MoOD.

She won a prize at the ‘Textile Competition Kyoto’ exhibition in 1991, received the ‘Design Preiss Schweiz’ and the ‘Nikore Sen-I-Shihun Japan Textile Paper Design Competition’ in Tokyo, in 1993. She was honoured with the ‘Henry van de Velde Award’ twice and picked up the first prize for an interiors textile at Interieur Kortrijk, among others.

She is also in charge of Design for O.J.Van Maele, weaver of luxury linen furnishing fabrics and wallcoverings in Belgium. Her linen collections blend innovation, creativity and a lot of attention in detail, finishes and handles, creating a unique style of sophisticated, understated elegance. 

About the « Blue Drop »:

The panel will nominate the strongest creations of MoOD exhibitors and award the most innovative in 10 categories a “Blue Drop”. Come and discover the nominated and awarded fabrics at the Blue Drop BUB in hall 6, near the sample banks. And also at the entrance of the nominated booths, through the show.
